Arable farming

Dust, vibrations and high forces characterise this area of application. High impact and edge loads place immense strain on the bearing points of ploughs, cultivators, harrows and sowing machines. This is where our igutex heavy-duty bearings prove their worth. They withstand harsh conditions and high loads and are also lubrication-free. This protects the floor against loss of lubricant.

Developed for very high loads

Composite bearings are a combination of different materials. For example, mineral materials (glass, coal) are woven together, combined with synthetic resins and other additives and sometimes pressed together under high temperatures and pressure.

In our igutex plain bearings, a robust glass fibre fabric serves as the outer shell, while an inner layer optimised for sliding properties reduces friction on the shaft.

Field sprayer

The rods on a field sprayer have many folding points, which are subject to large swing and lever forces. Here too, our fibre composite bearings made of the materials igutex TX1, TX2, TX3 and bearings made of iglidur Q3E are the right choice due to their durability.

Mechanical weed control

Machines for mechanical weed removal have a particularly large number of bearing points. The maintenance-free nature of the bushings plays a significant role. Plain bearings made of our iglidur G material are ideal. As our bearings do not require lubrication, no lubricant or grease can drip onto the field.
